Re: Quake II with 8-bit colored lighting ref_soft.dll

Glad you're enjoying it, and thanks for the tip on the mission packs!

I'm not 100% sure it is in the build I posted, but try typing 'sw_part' and then the TAB key in console. A list of particle overrides should appear. This is thanks to the q2dos team, and in fact I haven't tried these options.

Res is limited to 1080p. Next test build will attempt up to 4k which is 2000+p.

Re: Major color overhaul

screen aspect: super8 should autodetect all modes but may be limited to 1920x1080. I'll check it out.

z-fight: Usually means surfaces are too close for the z-buffer to distinguish. Uses fixed-point math for speed and so is not super-accurate. Can MarkV Winquake open it? Aaway from my comp ATM .

Re: Arcane Dimension

The new test build in other thread should look even better. Still an engine limitation of transparency layers, especially noticable on swampy. Sorry for the slipshod attempt at model fixes to anyone who tried it. This was a plunge into the complexities of mdl export. The engine can gracefully handle...

Re: Major color overhaul

TEST BUILD with new color tweaks: qbism Super8 v258.zip Overbrights are back (at least closer to the truth) and the standard Quake palette is the default. For an existing setup, change the cvar r_palette from s8pal to palette or it will look very washed-out. The super8 folder is no longer referenced...

Major color overhaul

In progress: This drastically changes the look of super8. Color distortion is greatly reduced. It may be a new engine name.

Re: Assembly instructions for CTC Euroway 3D printer

Calibration: for bed height- put nozzle at each corner of the bed, and adjust it so that a piece of paper barely fits between the nozzle and bed. that should be proper bed height, to make sure you can print a object with a large first layer, and if you notice issues on a certain side, i.e-not a line...

Re: Assembly instructions for CTC Euroway 3D printer

This was a group project... I've emailed the expert about calibration instructions. Later I'll post a config file that works with PLA plastic and 0.4mm head. Here's the first interesting thing I've made, an abstract building using Wings3D and Cura software. It's got 1/2" bridging! It worked, but tha...

Re: Assembly instructions for CTC Euroway 3D printer

I have tried to use the manual you have provided here to assemble my printer. And either this isn't the correct manual for my printer or it's just really hard to assemble, I'm not eve sure where to go from here I bought my kit on ebay and no assembly directions were provided. You may have a slightl...
